Spreading Love and Care with Lo Pan Rice
KWCM Social Club has once again called a volunteering team to participate in the Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign organised by the Construction Industry Council (CIC). Since 2 July on every Friday, the KWCM volunteering team would go to the student canteen of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) to pack meal boxes. They would then deliver the meal boxes to the community centre of the partnering non-profit organisation, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (ELCHK), located in Taiwo, and distribute them to needing families. This year, KWCM has undertaken 10 Lo Pan Rice distributions, donating a total of 1500 meal boxes to those in need.
